Enterprise-grade security, priced for the rest of the market

Most Australian businesses are told that real security testing starts in the tens of thousands of dollars. So they skip it, and hope. We think that is a solvable problem, not an acceptable one.

Comptrusence automates the parts of security testing that should be automated, maps what it finds to the frameworks Australian regulators and auditors already ask about, and teaches teams the cloud skills to fix things themselves. Scanning, compliance reporting and education, in one place, hosted in Australia.

The founder

From accounting to cybersecurity

Comptrusence was founded by Lukas Olajos, who came to security from financial accounting. After a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and years helping Australian small businesses with compliance, GST and taxation, the same question kept coming up in every meeting: how do I know if my website is secure, and why does a penetration test cost ten thousand dollars?

That gap is the whole reason the company exists. In 2024 he enrolled in a Bachelor of Cybersecurity at Torrens University to build the technical depth to answer it properly, and spent 2025 working as an AI/ML developer and solutions architect, building machine learning pipelines for the finance and security industries on AWS.

The result is a company that understands compliance from both sides of the table: the accounting side that has to produce the evidence, and the technical side that has to find the problems. That is why every finding we report is written in the language your auditor already uses.

Now studying a Bachelor of Cybersecurity at Torrens University, and previously built machine learning pipelines for the finance and security industries on AWS. Active in the Australian security community through AISA, ACS and ISACA, and volunteers at CyberCon Melbourne.

Asma Bagwan

Chief Technology Officer

Asma leads engineering and platform at Comptrusence. She spent seven years at Accenture as a senior DevOps and platform engineer and then cloud architect, running hybrid infrastructure across AWS and Azure. There she supported more than 40 mission-critical workloads against 99.99% availability targets, enabled over 150 developers across CI/CD platforms, cut deployment cycles by 60%, and kept production free of critical security findings for 18 consecutive months. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
